679: Flower petals and my new panda bear

Die Fotos wurden vor ein Paar Wochen gemacht, als manche Bäume noch in rosa Blüten waren. Unter so einem Baum habe ich mich hingestellt um mein Outfit zu fotografieren lassen. Mir war nicht im klaren was passieren mag, wenn der Wind kräftiger weht. Naja und der Tag war in manchen Momenten ziemlich windig. Was dann passierte könnt ihr auf den Fotos sehen :)

Auf das T-Shirt wurde ich aufmerksam als ich für meinen Artikel über coole Shirts Recherche machte (Plus Size Trend Guide: COOL SHIRTS)

Ich habe wirklich lange dafür gebraucht mich für dieses T-Shirt zu entscheiden. Ich fand das Print richtig süß und etwas lustig, doch anderseits war ich mir nicht sicher ob eine dreißigjährige so was wirklich tragen sollte. Ich beschloss dem Shirt eine Chance zu geben indem ich mal schaue, wie es an mir aussieht und habe es bestellt. Als es ankam und ich es zu Gesicht bekommen habe wusste ich sofort, dass ich es nie und nimmer zurück schicken werde. Das Shirt ist in meinen Lieblingsfarben, daher passt es zu unendlich vielen Kleidungsstücken in meinem Kleiderschrank :).

Zdjęcia były robione parę tygodni temu, gdy część drzew kwitnęła różowymi kwiatami. Uwielbiam ten widok i żałuję, że trwa to tak krótko. Pod jednym z takich drzew stanęłam, by dać sfotografować swój zestaw. Wtedy jeszcze nie byłam świadoma, co się stanie, gdy wiatr mocniej zawieje. I po chwili zawiał. Początkowo nie byłam pewna, czy trzydziestolatce przystoi nosić koszulkę z pandą. Tak, wiem, że czyta mnie wiele wspaniałych kobiet po trzydziestce i naturalnie, taką koszulkę może nosić każda. Czasami mam jednak takie wewnętrzne opory do siebie - u innych bardzo mi się takie zwariowane rzeczy podobają. W każdym razie, postanowiłam dać szansę koszulce i zobaczyć jak wygląda na mnie. Gdy przyszła i ją przymierzyłam, wiedziałam, że nigdy jej nie oddam :) Jest w moich ulubionych kolorach, więc pasuje do mnóstwa ubrań w mojej szafie :)

The pictures were taken a few weeks ago, when a part of the trees used to bloom pink flowers. This looked so wonderful. I stood under one of these trees to have my outfit photographed. Firstly I wasn't aware what will happen if the wind blows stronger... When and it did. You can see on the pictures how it looked like :)

Firstly I wasn't sure if a thirty years old woman should wear a T-Shirt like this. But I decided to gave it a chance and ordered to see how it would look like on me. When it arrived a I felt in love with it. Its in my favourite colour so it matches to really lot of things in my closet :).

5th blog anniversary

Diesen Monat wird mein Blog ganze 5 Jahre alt. Als ich mit dem schreiben begonnen habe, erwartete ich nicht, dass ich das ganze, Jahr für Jahr konsequent durchziehen werde. Und wie es aussieht habe ich regelmäßig gepostet, ohne irgendwelche Auszeiten (es sei den ich war im Urlaub). Es gab Momente in denen vieles Passierte, doch immer habe ich ein Paar Minuten gefunden was zu schreiben. Das alles macht mich sehr stolz und glücklich.

Ich weiß noch, dass am Anfang, wenn ich 5 Besucher hatte, ich mich sehr gefreut habe. Heutzutage sind es fast 1200 pro Tag. Ich kann es bis jetzt noch nicht glauben, wie sehr sich mein Blog ausgebreitet hat. Tag für Tag bekomme ich E-Mails von meinen Lesern, die mir diverse Fragen über meine verfassten Themen im Blog stellen oder nur etwas Lob schreiben möchten und danken, dass ich irgendwie inspirierend bin. Doch das, was mich am meisten rührt, sind Mails von Frauen, die mir danken, weil sie begriffen haben, dass man bei einer Übergröße doch schon aussehen kann und Dank mir mehr Mut haben. Das ist so toll und gibt einen Kick um nicht aufzuhören.

Durch diese 5 Jahre habe ich 678 Post verfasst, habe 15742 Kommentare veröffentlicht und meine Blog wurde über 750000 male Aufgerufen.

Natürlich hat alles auch ein Paar Macken: Unternehmen oder andere Blogger versuchen sich immer häufiger auf meinem Blog zu Popularisieren und nicht immer ist das auf eine freundliche Art, aber das dauert schon einige Zeit und meine Haut ist hart geworden :) Natürlich bekomme ich auch nette Einladungen (bin leider kein Party-Typ) oder Möglichkeiten für Kooperationen. Ich weiß, dass viele Unternehmen mir es übel nehmen, weil ich die Mehrheit ablehne, doch bitte ich um Verständnis. Ich möchte, dass mein Blog im größtem Teil unabhängig und nicht kommerziell ist. Deswegen gehe ich nur dann auf etwas ein, wenn es wirklich sehr, sehr, sehr interessant ist und ich es aus tiefsten Herzen empfehlen kann :) Der Blog ist so etwas wie eine Auszeit für mich und ich möchte nicht, dass er eine Art Arbeit wird, die ich nicht mag. Ich mache nur das, was mir einfach Spaß macht.

Das tolle an einem Mode Blog ist die Tatsache, dass man sehr viele Fotos von sich und seinen Outfits besitzt. Diese Fotos helfen mir sehr oft, wenn ich mal keine Idee für ein tolles Outfit habe oder wenn ich in Urlaub fahre. Wenn ich alles vor meinen Augen habe fällt es mir schneller diese Sachen auszuwählen mit denen ich die größte Anzahl verschiedener Outfits zusammenstellen kann. Damit das noch leichter für mich ist und für diejenigen, die auf einen Blick alle meine Zusammenstellungen sehen wollen habe ich einen Photoblog erstellt. Nicht immer habe ich die Möglichkeit alle meine Outfits auf dem Blog zu zeigen. Oft ist es so, dass sich rasch die Jahreszeit (mit dem Wetter) wechselt und es irgendwie unpassend wäre, wenn ich ein Outfit mit Stiefeln poste und draußen man Schon Sandalen trägt ;) Darum anstatt separate Post zu verfassen, füge ich die Outfits einfach im Photoblog zu. Meine ganz normalen, täglichen Outfits könnt ihr auf Instagram anschauen.

W tym miesiącu mój blog kończy pięć lat. Gdy zaczynałam pisać, nie sądziłam, że wytrwam w tym przez kolejne pięć lat i to pisząc dość regularnie, bez żadnych większych przerw (chyba, że jechałam na urlop). Różnie się działo u mnie w życiu, ale zawsze udało mi się wygospodarować kilka minut na małego posta :) To czyni mnie bardzo dumną :]

Na początku byłam szczęśliwa, gdy na danego posta weszło pięć osób, dziś dziennie liczba oglądających dochodzi do 1200. Dla wielu to może i mało, ale wg. mnie, jak na bloga Plus Size to całkiem sporo. Blog przez ostatnie parę miesięcy, czy może lat dość mocno się rozprzestrzenił i w niektórych krajach stał się nawet dość opiniotwórczy. Raz po raz dostaję maile od pań, które dziękują mi za pokazanie, że z większym rozmiarem można dobrze wyglądać. To bardzo wzruszające i zarazem motywujące do dalszego działania.

W ciągu tych pięciu lat napisałam 678 postów, opublikowałam 15742 komentarze, a blog był wyświetlany ponad 75 tysięcy razy.

Im bardziej mój blog staje się popularny tym bardziej firmy, czy inni blogerzy próbują na moich plecach się wybić, nie zawsze w miły sposób. Ale ponieważ działo to się dość często, udało mi się uodpornić :). Co rusz dostaję różne zaproszenia lub propozycje współpracy, mam jednak nadzieję, że wiele firm nie ma mi tego za złe, że odmawiam, ale nie chcę by ten blog był zbyt mocno skomercjalizowany, zależy mi na niezależności. Oczywiście od czasu do czasu zgadzam się na niektóre współprace, ale tylko wtedy, gdy firma mnie naprawdę do siebie przekona i z serca mogę daną rzecz polecić.

By wam i sobie ułatwić przeglądanie moich archiwalnych zestawów stworzyłam foto-blog. Jednym rzutem oka mogę obejrzeć sporo zestawów - to pomocne, gdy danego dnia nie mam weny, lub muszę się spakować. Ogarniając wiele zestawów mogę szybko wybrać ubrania, z których mogę później stworzyć wiele różnych kombinacji. Nie zawsze mam możliwość tworzenia postów z wszystkimi sfotografowanymi zestawami. Nie ma sensu pokazywać zaległego zimowego outfitu, przy którym mam na sobie kozaki, a cała Polska nosi już od tygodnia sandały :) Takie zaległe zdjęcia wrzucam właśnie do foto-bloga, poprzez co jest tam więcej zestawów niż na normalnym blogu.

This month my blog is having its 5th birthday. When I began with writing , I never thought it would last for five years. I was quite consequent with this writting, I didn't take breaks (except when I was traveling). There where moments when a lot happened in my life, but I always found a few minutes to post. All this makes me very proud and happy.

At the beginning I was very happy when my post had five visitors. Now every day I have about 1200 visits and I still can't believe it. It's still unbelievable how it did spread in the last past months or years. And I am very thankful for that. Every day I'm getting e-mails from my readers commenting the actual posts or just writing some nice thoughts. But what touches me the most, are woman thanking me for showing them, that with a plus size they still can look good. This is so great an is a trigger to continue writing this blog.

The more popular my blog became the more other blogger or companies tried to popularize on my shoulders. It wasn't always in the nice way, but because it happened a lot I've become tough :) Of course I've got a lot of nice cooperation offers and invitations for diverse events (I'm not a party type). I hope that a lot of companies don't take it in the wrong way, that I refused several collaborations but it was always very important to keep this blog away from commerce and influence. Of course there where a few collaborations but only when I found the companies very, very nice and I could recommend their products from my fullest heart. My blog is something like a time-out for me and I don't want to see it as a job. I'm doing only this, what makes fun. To make me and you it much easier to see all outfits I created a Photoblog. I don't always have the opportunity to show all my outfits on the blog. Because I don't want to waste the taken pictures I put them to the photoblog. So on the photoblog there are more outfits then on the blog.

Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie es wohl weiter mit meinem Blog geht, wie er sich weiterentwickeln wird. Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich die Idee, dass ich ihn auf einen Lifestyle blog umwandle aber irgendwie machten mir immer die Outfit Post am meisten Spaß. Ich glaube ich bleibe eher bei der Mode/Reisen Thematik. Und mir ist gerade eingefallen, dass ich noch viele Post von meinem Ausflug nach Gran Canaria verfassen wollte. Ich muss mich endlich an die Arbeit machen :)

Jestem bardzo ciekawa, co przyniesie przyszłość i w jakim kierunku mój blog będzie się rozwijał. Jakiś czas temu miałam pomysł na przemianę tego bloga w taki o tematyce lifestyle, ale za bardzo lubię tworzyć posty związane z ciuchami, czy podróżami. A mówiąc o podróżach, wciąż mam zaległych kilka postów z Gran Canarii. Muszę się wreszcie wziąć do roboty! :)

I'm very curious how the future will be like for my blog, what will happen and how it will look like. I am always having new ideas. A few months ago I had the idea to change it in to a lifestyle blog. But then I realized that I like outfit and travelling post to much and didn't want to write about other things. That reminds me, that I own you some post about my trip do Gran Canaria. I must star working on it :)

The bokeh tank top

Ein Shirt (oder Sweatshirt - ich weiß es nicht mehr genau) mit Bokeh-Print habe ich schon woanders gesehen, ich habe aber davon die Finger gelassen, weil der Ausschnitt bis zum Hals reichte, was bei meinem runden Gesicht keine gute Idee ist.
Aber, als ich dieses Shirt bei Mode58 (www.mode58.de), wo ich mir was aussuchen dürfte, gesehen habe, habe ich mich sofort verliebt. Auf die Marke Aprico bin ich schon bei meiner Recherche für den Artikel über Florale Inspirationen (Plus Size Trend Guide: FLORAL) aufmerksam geworden. Ihre Teile sind einfach kleine Kunststücke. Ich bin so froh, dass Dank Mode58 ich dieses Teil ergattern konnte.
Das Shirt ist so farbenfroh, dass ich keine weiteren Farben in meinem Outfit hinzugefügt habe, stattdessen habe ich die Farbtöne von dem Print mit dem Rest der Sachen aufgegriffen. Die Länge des Oberteils erlaubt mir ganz ruhig an wärmeren Tagen eine dünne Leggings zu tragen. Ich finde die Spitze am unterem Rand sehr süß.

Ich hoffe, dass man auf den Fotos erkennen kann, dass meine Schuhe nicht weiß, sondern hell gelb sind, genau, wie ein Teil der Herzchen auf dem Shirt. Ich glaube, dass dieses Teil ein häufiger Begleiter in diesem Sommer wird.

Zobaczyłam kiedyś bluzkę (a może była to bluza?) z wzorem typu "bokeh" w innym sklepie internetowym. Bardzo mi się spodobała, ale z powodu absolutnego braku dekoltu (co nie jest dobrym pomysłem przy okrągłej twarzy) musiałam sobie odpuścić.
Na całe szczęście jakiś czas temu sklep Mode58 (www.mode58.de) pozwolił mi wybrać sobie kilka ubrań do testowania. Jakież było moje szczęście, gdy trafiłam na ten top. Z marką Aprico miałam już jako taką styczność, podczas poszukiwań inspiracji do mojego artykułu na temat kwiatowych wzorów (Plus Size Trend Guide: FLORAL). Muszę przyznać, że każdy ciuch tej firmy to małe dzieło sztuki.

Uważam, że długość bluzki jest w sam raz, by w cieplejsze dni włożyć do niej cieńsze getry. Bardzo podoba mi się jej słodkie zakończenie koronką, które dodaje całości jeszcze większego uroku. Mam nadzieję, że na zdjęciach widać, że moje buty nie są białe lecz jasnożółte - tak jak część serduszek na topie. Ponieważ koszulka wręcz kipi od różnych barw, nie dodawałam w reszcie stroju dodatkowych kolorów. Starałam się, by wszystko było w odcieniach na niej występujących.

I saw a shirt (or sweatshirt - I don't remember exactly) with a bokeh print in an other online store. I didn't buy it because of its very high (almost up to my throat) neckline. I don't like wearing high necklines because of my round face.
But when I found this top at Mode58 (www.mode58.de) I immediately fell in love with it. I'm so happy that I could pick some clothes for testing, thanks that I could be the happy owner of this marvellous piece. I became aware of the Aprico brand when I did my research for the article about floral plus size trends (Plus Size Trend Guide: FLORAL). I have to admit: every piece of their clothing is a small work of art.
I have already written an article about a jacket that I also got from this store (White dress and the jeans jacket).
Back to the top. Its length is just perfect to wear thin leggings under it when its warmer. I find the lace on its bottom just adorable. I hope you can see, that my shoes are not white. They are light yellow, just like a part of the hearts. Because of its multicolour I didn't add extra colour in the rest of my outfit, I just kept it in the same tones that appeared on the top.

How to wear stripes if you are a plus size

Ich habe mir seit gestern vieles überlegt. Das ganze hat mir sehr die Augen auf die deutsche Mentalität geöffnet. Ich muss zugeben, dass dort wo ich herkomme das ganze anders aussieht und Blogs ganz anders empfangen werden. Ich wohne hier nicht lange und vieles muss wohl noch gelernt werden.
Wenn sich jemand von mir angegriffen gefühlt hat, dann soll er wissen, dass dies nicht meine Absicht war. Ein weniger direktes Schreiben werde ich wohl noch lernen müssen, mir war nicht klar, dass dies was ich schreibe jeder immer sehr persönlich nimmt. Von heute an werde ich darauf Rücksicht nehmen.
Jeder macht Fehler und ich hoffe, dass die, die sich verletzt fühlen mir verzeihen. So viel kann ich nun sagen. Und jetzt kommt der Text mit den Streifen.

Liebe Damen, jede von uns sieht fabelhaft in Streifen aus. Es kann aber manchmal so vorkommen, dass die Streifen und größer machen. Was natürlich nicht heißt, dass wir es sein lassen sollten diese Streifen zu tragen. Es gibt da ein Paar simple Tricks sie besser erscheinen zu lassen. Wie z.B. eine Strickjacke oder Blazer darauf zu ziehen. Bei wärmeren Tagen ist ein langer Schal eine ziemlich gute Idee. Aber das alles nur wenn ich wollt.

Często się słyszy, że kobiety plus size nie powinny nosić pasków. Bluzki, czy topy mogą sprawiać, że sylwetka będzie wydawała się trochę szersza. Niekoniecznie trzeba przez to rezygnować z paskowanych ubrań. Myślę, że dobrym pomysłem na zaadoptowanie takich pasków jest włożenie na nie dodatkowej warstwy jak np. sweter, kurtka, czy marynarka. W cieplejsze dni nałożenie długiego szala może też "zniszczyć" efekt "poszerzania" :)

I think it should be finally said: a plus size woman will not always look good in horizontal stripes. It just doesn't look good on everybody (plus size) without a cardigan, jacket, blazer, vest or scarf. It just depends of your body shape and/or how you wear it.

They say, that there are clothes in that a plus size lady will never look good. Well, I don't agree with that opinion. I think that you can look in almost everything great but it just has to be worn a different way.

Here is an idea how to wear a stripped shirt without looking bigger than you are. Wearing something over it is the key. Because it was an cooler evening I could wear a cardigan. When it gets warmer I'm gonna replace this cardigan with a wither scarf that optically cuts the horizontal stripes and make the whole outfit look better :)
