Hello! I am back from Scotland, where I spent really great moments. On one hand I am happy to be back home and do my everyday-stuff but on the other hand I miss the place I've been to. I love this country and its beautiful capital - Edinburgh. Its my second journey there and you know what? I don't have enough of it! On Instagram you can see a lot of pictures I've done there and much more will appear in the nearest future. I also plan a post, or maybe more with the nicest pictures from that journey. But every corner of Scotland is so beautiful and it will be hard to pick pictures that should be skipped.

When I woke up today I thought, that I overslept summer and woke up in November. It was dark, rained cats and dogs and there was a storm! To think about something more like summer I started to choose pictures for that post, that were taking just before my journey. It was so warm that day! Well it is still warm, but firstly it is hard to believe, when you look through the window. Yesterday I was in the city wearing shorts and sandals, I hope I can wear the same again soon, when I am sure no rain will catch me :)

Finally you can see my yellow bag. For years I've been wearing the same yellow XXL bag and this season I just got enough of it and wanted a small one, like I am used wear. It wasn't that easy to find the perfect yellow one, there was always something wrong! But finally I found one at TK Maxx in Koblenz. I must admit that my grandma got the same one in silver but from a different brand. It is quite strange, that different brands offer exact the same bags just with a different logo. The shirt I am wearing is new as well, but its my second one with this cut. I think it makes me look less round ;) Now I am looking after more shirts that end up like this one.

I hope your summer is less rainy as mine is :)

City trip - Glasgow

By ScotRail it is only one hour journey from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow. The trains are very comfortable, not overfilled and there is even WiFi (well in our case it worked only when the train was in the big cities, but lets be optimistic and think, that day something went wrong).

Glasgow with its about 600,000 inhabitants is the largest city in Scotland, and the third largest city in the United Kingdom after London and Birmingham. In the 1990s, Glasgow continued to recover from its decline. The city has invested large sums in the renovation and restoration of a variety of buildings over the past 15 to 20 years. Through this effort the quality of life in the city has increased noticeably. In 1990 (instead of London or Edinburgh) was surprisingly Glasgow 6. European Capital of Culture and won in 1999 the architecture and design prize. In 2003, Glasgow became the European sports capital.

I have seen Glasgow as a very different city. This is a place where historical construction meets this modern, which gives an interesting effect. At one point we have the impression of finding ourselves in a completely different world, and in a moment we will be back in the present.
